Short description

Multiplayer robot football. Every limb is controlled separately and no shot is pre-calculated: everything depends on the angle and force of the impact.

Long description

Poly Strike is a multiplayer robot football game for PC. You steer the torso with WASD and each leg is commanded with the mouse, independently of the other and never both at once. Running, dribbling and striking mean alternating the rhythm, the way you learn to pilot a machine.

No statistic acts in the player’s place. The power and direction of the ball depend only on the exact angle of the shin and foot at the moment of impact.

The field player has a fixed, armless torso and everything in the legs: infinite volley, header, and a tackle aimed at the opponent’s joints. The goalkeeper is the only character with articulated arms: charged jump, full splits, fist and open-hand modes, and magnetic gloves that hold the ball for ten seconds.

No whistle, no cards, no falling over. Offside is only called if the player is still offside when touching the ball.

The three things that set it apart

One command per leg
And you cannot fire both at once. That constraint is what makes running and dribbling technical.
No pre-calculated shots
No power or accuracy value. The trajectory comes from the real position of the limb at impact.
Zero falls, zero whistle
Tackling is a legal weapon, and the robots stay on their feet. The action never stops.

Not to be confused with

Two other games carry a similar name, and both are shooters: POLYSTRIKE, a 5v5 tactical top-down shooter, and Poly Strike: Gun Shooting Game, a mobile FPS. Neither has any connection with Axperia Studio.

Poly Strike is a football game. Please say so in headlines and database entries: that is what prevents the confusion.
